I have decided that i no longer love the south. It doesnt have one single thing to do with the people, despite the nasty little jokes, southern people are by and large hard working and decent people. *hugs sis tight* Maybe there is something to be said for living in the north. But, you dont have to move too far, you know you're always welcome in NC, Id love to be able to see you closer. I can only imagine what you've gone through and seen.

Sadly, there is NO country in this world that has the true resources to deal with the catastrophe of a major hurricane and the damage that it can cause.
I feel for you and for the folks that have lost all down there. Ailanna is right, NC is a bit better, and still warm too...(grins)
