The satellite that I was using to study the Moon now fully deserves the word "was", being as it is dead. I forget what the final analysis was - radiation damage to key systems I think - but with the short mission and low solar activity, there isn't as much coverage as I'd have liked, and it reduces the chance I can find a decent geological study to ( Read more... )

I said things about geocaching, too! Incidentally, nitroglysarine's latest, Beta, is well-worth the hunt.

Yeah, keep up the blog posts: they have a certain permanance that Twitter lacks, I find (there's no way I'd read through anybody's old twats - or whetever they're called - to find out what they've been up to since I last spoke to them, but a nice concise blog post is fabulous: plus it saves me from all the chaff-sorting that having a Twitter account would entail). If there's something I've learned from norasdollhouse when we were up there last weekend, it's quite how valuable this medium is.
