"Too slow!" aka Vikki Really Loves Dissidia!Zidane

How much do I love that Dissidia!Zidane's taunt (or one of them, at least) is 'osoi yo!' Could be translated as 'too slow!' or 'you're late!' I haven't listened to the English (I'm sure it will break my heart), but I'll bet it's translated as "You're too slow!" with a horrible Bronx accent. XD ( Read more... )

Zidane is far and away my favorite FF hero and FFIX is far and away my favorite game in the series. He's the only one of the boys I could take out for a night on the town and expect to have a fantastic time. ♥

(You know, that honestly applies to the entire cast. Have I ever mentioned that, thanks to Guardian's fic, Freya is now and forever voiced in my head by Emma Thompson?)

So glad you liked this! Really not happy with my Cloud&Tifa!voices but Zidane is a blast to write.

Only two things: my dream fic for Zidane is actually some epic Treno adventure where he and some of the Tantalus crew rob a rich guy and get into all sorts of crazy antics. But I have to replay the beginning of the game to nail Blank's voice for that (oh the agony) and anyway, what I have written is:

The Art of Napping - for a meme where I was asked to write about Zidane and napping (no actual dialogue).

heads or tails - in which Squall meets Zidane in the dissidia!universe, which I whipped up about two hours ago. Uh. Tails are awesome lol ?
