I feel like I should do a whole review of it, but it was like ... ( Charlie's Angels meets Inception meets Kill Bill meets anime/fantasy/zombies/cyberpunk meets horror. [spoiler free] )

Huh, my take on the death of Baby Doll's sister was she accidentally shot her while trying to protect her from the evil stepfather.

Also, while I loved the man giving advice in Baby Doll's head, the feminist part of me thought 'why does it have to be a guy giving the advice'?

Well, like she said, he's her "guardian angel" and usually those are depicted as male characters (even though, angels are supposed to be asexual.)
