PA Dutch Country - we just came back... reasonably prices B&Bs, great sites, fun, loads of very good (and dirt cheap food), lots little stores (and lots of large top name outlets), etc :)

we stayed at Strasburg Village Inn.. I can't say it was bad, but it was all that great... We did not stay there, but did consider (and are considering for our next trip) Greystone Manor :)

New Hope.
you can get a nice a cozy B&B, lots a shops and restaurants.

I really like New Hope, but it's almost too close to home, you know? :) My parents live within 20 mins of there. Any other places like that?
