First off, let me say that, no matter how nice the sales staff are, it's just humiliating shopping for a motorcycle when you are under 5 feet tall.  And really, does every sales guy have to say "And the paintjob is really pretty!" Cuz, y'know, that makes me feel like I'm being treated as a serious buyer.

My best friend/roomate is in the same boat. She bought a Honda 350 a few years ago with the hopes that dropping it, removing half the padding from the seat and wearing great big boots would allow her to ride it -- no go. Sold that, and has some new (old) bike that I haven't seen yet. I don't believe she's ridden it yet. I worry about her dropping it, though, because you at least have muscles on your side. Dani's maybe* 100lbs soaking wet with big boots on. I worry about it crushing her teeny, toothpicky legs. (She's about D's size.)
