An acquaintance of mine made this up between battles at an SCA event a few years back

"If I live, I will live gloriously, if I die, I will go to Valhalla. Either way, I win".

Nice!

A friend of mine fell on the battlefield at an SCA event. He suffered a heartattack. He died on the way to the hospital. Very sad. But we all knew that if he was going to go, on the battlefield was where he would have chosen.
