Looking for a new job
I'm starting the process of looking for a new job today because of the politics of the company I'm working for. I found out that my "friend" who got me this job tried playing me to buck himself up within the company and when he realized that I wasn't feeding him the info about everyone on the job site he told the superintendent to fire me because ( Read more... ) -

My schedule sucks
I technically have every day off but yet I work 7 days a week -
worse day ever
This morning I found out that I might have to wait upwards of 2 weeks before my next job starts up and I got a flat tire sometime overnight. My new job pays good so money is manageable. I got the tire fixed, so no problem there. I got home this morning to find out that my oldest daughter just beat Assassins Creed 2 in one sitting. I just can't ( Read more... ) -

Just discovered an awesome new band!!!
Eluveitie is a Swiss Pagan (maybe Heathen)/death metal band with a good bit of Celtic influence. What just got my interest in them is that aside from the traditional heavy metal instruments of musical destruction these people also throw in a penny whistle, fiddle, border pipes (similar to regular Scottish bag pipes but instead of blowing through ( Read more... ) -
First week down.
I'm still alive. New hours are 9p-7a 6 days a week, I only get Saturday night off, but with the potential pay I could get I'll be making it work (60-75k). I get a per Diem check every week regardless of how far away from home I am, which right now helps out with gas because I'm driving 85 miles one way. I'm so bored
Going through the crappy part of starting my new job, staying up all night so I can get use to the new schedule. I was told that at least 90% of my work will be at night. Going to watch Boondock Saints 2, hopefully I can stay up till 8a when I'll get to start going to sleep. -

And I have a little girl who has a crick in her neck so bad that she can't sleep and watching Fox news hearing reports of threats against those who voted for the health care bill.
