내가 제일 잘나가 | 2ne1

Yes at everything about this. I don't follow K-Pop as much as I should but 2ne1 is definitely one of my fave groups. There influence from hip hop is so alluring to me. This song is also so fucking fierce can they not... SNSD who???

Took My Love feat. Red Foo, Vein, David Rush | Pitbull

This album is so good. Pitbull is extremely nasty, degrading, and pure pop rap. Which I love. Go daddy, go!!!

Marvin's Room | JoJo

Jojo makes it a thing to always remake Drake songs. She's like obsessed. But damn, Jojo has been one of my faves for a while and I'm glad she got a little attention with this. Even if you can't relate it still takes you to that place. It's so sad but it's so Jojo.

Beautiful People | Chris Brown

Honestly, if I didn't feel guilty already for liking Chris Brown this didn't help. However, this is such a gay anthem that it was a serious contender against his now ex who is the queen of gay anthems at the moment, in my opinion.

iPhone | Trina

I make it known I love the use of electric guitars in songs and Trina's "Diamonds are Forever" mixtape put the instrument to good use. Honestly besides "Diamonds are Forever" being my favorite mixtape of the year, not that I listen to many to begin with, this song is just so...? Raw? Powerful? Fun? Basically all of Trina's attributes in a song.

Black Friday | Lil' Kim

You know what pisses me off? That people don't realize this whole Lil' Kim and Nicki Minaj feud has single-handedly brought excitement back to the female rapper genre. Who was your fave rapper before Nicki? Trina? Did you buy her album? I didn't think so... I could rant on and on about how this feud has been positive for the both of them but I don't want to. Instead, recognize that Black Friday is the first time in a looooong time that Lil' Kim has spit fire. (Plus autotune is nowhere to be found! Yes!)

No Church in the Wild feat. Frank Ocean | Kanye West & Jay-Z

Oh, you thought I was gonna pick Niggas in Paris, huh? The whole album was good but this song is the one that most kept that eerie-chilling feeling that makes Kanye my favorite rapper. There's something so dark yet so seductive about this track it gives me chills, like a lot of Kanye songs do. Oh yeah and Jay didn't ruin this song which is a plus. (What is this video though? I don't know I just found it.)

Super Bass | Nicki Minaj

What makes Nicki Minaj: Nicki Minaj? The fact that she is the commercial representation of a young privileged black female in a pop world. What seperates her from her female rap predecessors, yes including Kimmy, is that Nicki is cute. Way cute. Too cute. She's a sugar coated rap mistress. Which does not take away from her talent at all. She can go hard. However, I think this is the kind of music Nicki enjoys doing. She wants to be pop. Which is totally fine.

Black Jesus | Lady Gaga

This song is me.
You know I've had my reservations about this Gaga person, but the more she exists the more I feel like I get her. There a lot of positive things I've realized about her, but don't get it confused, she's still not that special.

All My Life | Wynter Gordon

So happy I found out about this girl. I love her and her music. Definitely a force to be reckoned with. I can't promise, but I hope she will reach diva status.

Only Girl (In The World) | Rihanna

I've gone from liking her, to hating her, to liking her a lot. I could have picked S&M, or maybe something from her later album "Talk That Talk" for such favorites as We Found Love, Where Have You Been, Birthday Cake etc. but we should realize, especially fans, that "Talk That Talk" was a rushed album. It was good, but it had to be to compete with everything else out there today. The reason I chose Only Girl is because this is the song that slowly drew me back into liking Rihanna. She sings with so much power sometimes, admittedly mostly off key, but power nonetheless. This song is SUCH a gay anthem I had to. Plus I love what Camilla Akrans did with the Loud photos and this video in particular.

Countdown | Beyonce

Well... it is Beyonce. She's not my favorite but she's one of my favorites regardless forever and always. I lost a lot of calories to this song. The album was weeeaaaak though.

Till The World Ends | Britney Spears
