...Next time I buy a razor, I'm buying a woman's razor. Why would I do such a thing? A) I own an electric razor (for men), but the guarded blades never cut close enough and the unguarded blades chew my face up. B) I tried my sister's razor on my face, and it is silky smooth and has the wonderful cushioned edges so that you don't get razor burns or ( Read more... )

I try not to shave in public. I'm even funny about shaving in front of other family members.

If they made the same kind of razors for men, but in reds and blues and blacks, I wouldn't be considering a lady's razor. However, maybe they do have that style for men already; it's been quite a while since I've used a manual razor.

I couldn't say; I still go for the cheap razor, and I haven't changed brands in many years. Maybe I should start looking!

I've never been really clear on what the difference between men's and women's razors actually is.

You've never seen Beth's razors lying around in the bathroom? Women's razors have actual grips on them (probably because you need a steadier hand when shaving around lady bits) and thick rubber cushions on the top and bottom of the blade area. The heads of the razors also move back and forth for shaving around contours of your body.

Oh, I've SEEN women's razors. I'm just not entirely sure how they differ, other than in color. Moving heads sound like they'd be good for my cheekbones, though.
