10. Which craft project do you want to do next?

First up, I'm part way through this cute vest (the photo shows the local designer wearing it). It comes in a pure-wool kit from the designer in Wanaka, pick your colours. Mine are watery: rain grey, aqua blue, glacial green. It's a cool construction; you knit the front and back sideways at the same

I couldn't resist it when it appeared in an email. I really fancy another from the designer, a kimono cardigan in three colours. She's very good at using colour in enventive ways.

And they weren't socks! I've made a lot of socks in the last couple of years as commercial ones are so uncomfortable (tight tops, that horrible and unnecessary seam across my toe knuckles) and I can knit them to fit exactly. Mind you, check out these ones I fancy trying soon, for the challenge and how cool they look, though garter stitch won't be as comfy.

I know you're very talented at different crafts. Do you knit at all?

Ah ,my friend, I have to smile now. I can do such crafts like chopping the wood, repairing the light switch and other basic stuff in the house and garden. However I really don´t knit or sew or stitch or whatever, crochet and such. Yes, I was taught how to do it but I am a restless one and I would have to become paralysed to start knitting or crochetting again! My granny always called this "a lack of sitzfleisch", hahahaha!

Sitzfleisch! That's a new word for it! Possibly mine is too big...

Actually I'm not good at sitting still - I have to jiggle and swing my legs when watching TV (which infuriated my parents) but knitting seems to calm them.

I will do that! I take photos of all my projects anyway to record on the Ravelry website.
