Once again I'm a bit late, due to all the lockdown kerfuffle - extended for another few days, and Greg's work next week cancelled. The roads are quiet and empty, and the supermarkets don't even have queues, unlike last time. People seem to be behaving very well, at least here in town.

I do love when blossom is out - as it is now - but such a display of autumn leaves is unusual further north. Down here you can see the seasons; up north it's all evergreen natives out of the cities.

BTW from here I can see lots of the kowhai in this icon.

I understand - colourful and sunny autumn can be more beautiful than spring - esepecially here.
And again, as always, I realise that there is spring in NZ!:-)

It's officially still winter till the end of the month, but there are lots of blossoms out and it's certainly starting to feel like spring.
