In a couple of weeks they're removing scanning and the vaccine pass mandate for eating/drinking places because the Aussies and returning residents - like a friend of mine who just came back from Germany - can't eat out. I think the design of the female human body makes no sense at all, but the male is even more ludicrous.
I don't understand why .pineapple is anathema to people anyway. Beef in pineapple with noodles is delicious yet I have got very odd looks for mixing "fruit" with my savoury

Fruit in green salads is really good too. I remember being mocked at primary school for having a lettuce salad for lunch with apple and orange in it - my mother liked to make tasty and interesting food. (No such thing as school lunch here - you bring your own.)

Oh, and curries with banana, coconut, sultanas, apple: delicious! A friend who lived in Jamaica used to make a great hot and fruity curry from there.

A couple of people on my journals are still soffering from the long covid, it's no joke so even though the numbers here are so low, and I'm triple-vaxxed, I'm playing safe too. You're quite right to put your health first.

Thanks, and me too: double-vaxxed and boosted. I feel slightly guilty about it, but planes and weddings are great ways to catch the rona. It can give people brain shrinkage and I'm terrified of anything that can affect my brain.
