Navigating the Archive
I don't think anyone has any problems navigating through, but I definitely intend to make it simple to understand ^_^ This is a guide and also a little post of general rules. Please read through!

We will start with a general introduction. I am Anri but everyone calls me Vile. I like reading a lot and I've always tended to go through books within a day or two of getting them, depending on the size. When I found manga, I was relatively happy. A lot of manga that I read isn't completed so there is no such thing as being done in a week. Rather, I can read a chapter once a week... for like months! Also, manga is really interesting. There's no way to hide that fact~
So, thus started my (so far) neverending battle finding various manga. It's almost been a year since I've started my obsession, but I think I've got down the art of finding manga without using IRC (since I have a firewall, I can't use IRC). Now, I think it's time to make it easier for other people like me to find manga. That's why I made this!
Of course, there are places like free_manga here but many of the links expire and there are titles you cannot find. There are other places out there but you have to register and maybe even pay (which is wrong). On some message boards, you have to register and post some odd amount of posts before being able to download some titles. With livejournal, all you have to do is have an account here and then friend me. No harm done. I don't have to know anything about you and you don't have to pay anything. No hassle ^_^
What manga is here exactly...
To find what what manga I have, you can browse through the entries or memories. Of course, you can also make it easy on yourself and check this list! Of course, it may not always be up to date and the entry does not link to where every entry is, so you'll eventually have to use other methods of finding the manga. However, it is your best bet to see what I have or if I have what you want!
How to Find Manga by Title
As for finding manga, I think it's relatively easy. If you're looking for a certain title, you can go to the memories. For a manga that starts with a number, like 666 Satan, you click on the category "#" and look for it there! If it starts with a letter, like Hunter x Hunter, you find "H" and look! Very simple. There are also categories for updates and doujinshi.
How to Find Manga by Author
However, if you're looking for a manga by author or just want to check out other mangas by a certain author, you can use the tags. To use the tags, you can manually look for a mangaka like Matsumoto Tomo or you can press Ctrl + F to have your pretty computer search for you! Once you press ctrl + F, your computer will ask what you are searching for. Depending on what browser you use, it will either be a pop-up sort of request or (for Firefox users) it will pop up at the bottom of the screen. In either case, it will ask what to find. In this case, you type in Matsumoto Tomo and it will highlight the phrase on the page. Once there, you can click on the link and it will take you to all of the titles that I have uploaded by Matsumoto Tomo.
How to Find Manga by Scanlator or Genre
If you are looking for manga by scanlator or by a certain genre, the same concept applies. You use the tags, manually look or use Ctrl + F. If you are looking for releases by ShoujoMagic, you would find this list of all the manga scanlated by them. If you were looking for the genre drama, you would find this list of all the titles that have the genre of drama.
Other tags are licensed manga, completed manga, a list of all the manga, and updates. You can also look for simple genres suck as "yaoi", "shounen-ai", or "shoujo".
The Updates
I know it's probably kind of hard to follow updates at this place. All new titles are announced in a large post about once a week. I try to wait a few days and after quite a few new titles before introducing them. In those posts, I try my best to describe my favorites and why you should read them! For new releases, I keep track of them all in this entry. I try my best to update the series as fast as possible but sometimes it's pointless to just update one series -_-;
Another place to check for new updates is RedMadness. This is the place where I get most of my updates and usually you can find all of the new releases there.
Commenting on Entries
Although I require you to friend me, I do not require you to comment when downloading the manga. However, it would be very nice of you! It's nice to know when someone is taking the download or what someone thinks of the manga. When others post their opinion of the manga, it also helps others decide if they want to try it out or not, so everything is appreciated.
Redistribution Policy
Even though I do not require you to comment when taking, I will not simply let you take the download links. I will not allow redistribution of any of my links. However, if you ask, I might let you because I don't think enough people are downloading them to begin with. Also, don't worry if you are simply giving the links to one series or just a couple links. I don't mind that at all. Also, I do share my links with RedMadness, a forum made by my friend xxnthorxx to share her favorite manga, and sometimes The Evil Empire, another manga archive forum.
Finding Broken Links
If you ever find a broken link, a file deleted, or a corrupted file, please notify me here. I will try my best to fix the problem as soon as possible! If it's something I cannot fix, I will offer to send you what you want through email ^_^ There are also times when the file in question wasn't uploaded by me and, thus, can't be fixed by me -_-; With those, I will get in contact with who did upload it and see if they will help me fix it.
