That if you travel to the astral plane you can visit the Akashic Records and that some powerful psychics have written on what they have seen in them.

I remember a room of many scrolls.

Astral plane? No, I think you are wrong there. It is an altered state of conscience, after long time studying and meditating and changing within. You meet the Zeitgeist who ALLOWS you to know about your past lives and future events. You cannot TRAVEL there, of course.

So true... The degree of spiritual evolution which we have accrued over many lifetimes was earned by experience and the resulting understanding of experience. Mostly we learn through mistakes or pain of many forms. It is said that a person has the potential to learn far more about themselves during stressful times than in peaceful easy times, as when life is easy you're not tested. So if in your inner being you know that a certain action or attitude is wrong, it's because you've learned it the hard way at some point, perhaps in this life or perhaps in an earlier life. This means that we've all been the murderer, the poisoner, the traitor, the assassin, the blundering idiot etc. at some point in time.
