I've got three months to finish Bobo's blanket, and I'm not even through the third row. Instead of pushing forward, I keep pausing to do stupid shit, like RP, or write, or check Twitter, or text

My mom used to crochet and like, do a million and one things at once. How she did it, I will never actually know.

I once thought that my life would be perfect if I could take a bath or shower and do my hair and make up at the same time. Never actually worked and I ended up being late for school. A multi-tasker I am not apparently.

I have tried to read and crochet, with very little success. Most books want to be held open, or if I'm reading on the computer having to look up at the screen and down at the page makes me lose track of stitches.

Have you considered audiobooks? I crocheted part of an afghan listening to Seamus Heaney read his translation of Beowulf. (Mmmm.)

(PS: I am working on your hat. The first yarn I used refused to slouch properly, so I am experimenting with others now.)
