Update on Scott's Wake

Happy holidays.  Scott's memorial/Irish wake will take place on Jan. 17 at 2 p.m. at Scott & Gail's house at 8305 Los Ranchos, Austin, TX 78749.  RSVP by e-mail or phone is requested, but not required.  In lieu of flowers, please donate to your favorite charity.

I was so saddened this last week when I learned of Scott’s passing. He made such an impact on my life as I know he did for others. I always admired him as a friend and as a man. I know that over the years I have lost touch with him and when I read Scott’s Wanderings I was so sorry that I didn’t stay in touch and that I was not there for him when he needed friends to be close. I want Gail and Scott’s family to know that I am so sorry for their loss. Scott was one of the special people put on this earth to make us all stop and think about life and what we are all about. He accepted us all and overlooked our faults. I know this is nothing new to the people who loved him but I thought it was important to know that so many of us were touched by him and our life was better for having known him.
