I'm the worst unemployed person ever. I want to find a job, but I suck at it. I hate the awkwardness of cold-calling places, or showing up, but I feel like In This Economic Climate it's what you need to do. Also finding jobs on the internet creeps me out a little bit, even though it's less awkward. I kind of want to just call people and be like

god, how i would love to. actually i met a few people in new zealand who're probably back in the UK now and they should hang out with you. i should check on that. anyway, the main problem with moving to the UK is that staying in the good graces of my parents is the only thing keeping a roof over my head right now. and leaving the country again would totally piss them off.
