I've been here for 3 weeks, still can't get a job. I'm either too old or just don't get any responses and now the jobs seem to be everywhere except here including where i just moved from and there weren't any there before I moved.

I'm over this already.

it can take ages to get a job.. especially in a small town, but don't give up and keep looking/applying.. you will get something. i hope it doesn't take too much longer though. good luck young lady :)

That was the first place I applied for before I moved here, they were really keen to employ me until they found out that I was 21 and that Robert bloke didn't want to employ me because I am "too old and it wouldn't be fair to the other girls who worked there for me to be paid a higher hourly rate than them"
