One down, one to go

Wow! I hadn't realized it had been so long since my last update!

So Anna finally moved out yesterday. Good riddance. You know, I used to feel bad for her. She was constantly moving, getting stuck in bad situations with people that were screwing her over, but now I have to wonder how much of it she made up. I can almost guarantee that she's telling her friends all sorts of stories about US. Hell, she struck up a friendship with my friend Shelia, and was badmouthing us so much that Shelia finally just showed me the texts. Things like:

- she wasn't allowed to eat our food, and couldn't afford to buy her own, so she went days without eating.

- when Steph was visiting, Anna wasn't allowed to get any sleep because she had to sleep on the couch, and that's just not right.

- we wouldn't let her do laundry or shower at night, but she didn't have any other time to do it since she worked all day.

-we were making it so hard for her to fix her car and get back on her feet, because we took every spare penny she had.

Never mind the fact that she WAS allowed to eat, she just refused because what we bought wasn't up to her standards. Plus, if she couldn't afford her own, how was she bringing home takeout every damn day? And the bedroom she was using was Stephanie's. We weren't going to tell Steph she couldn't use her own damn bedroom because Anna was using it. That was made crystal clear when we asked her to help us out, and she agreed. But to her, it was indecent and wrong to ask a grown woman to sleep on the couch and let a 6 year old have the bedroom. She was allowed to do laundry and shower whenever she damn well pleased. It was just that Josh asked her not to overload the washer because she'd jam it so full of clothes that it bounced around and banged on the wall. The wall that separates my bedroom from the bathroom. So if she was doing laundry, Josh and I couldn't sleep. Is it really so much to ask that she do two loads of laundry instead of one giant one?

And don't get me started on the rent. I told Josh we should write something up, before she moved in. But no, it's his sister and a verbal agreement is just dandy. You know where that got us? Instead of the $40-$50 a week she was supposed to be giving us, she gave us a whopping $135. Total. For almost 3 months. But we were bleeding her dry?

I guess she also read my journal. Josh generally respects my things so I thought leaving it on my nightstand would be fine. Why the fuck Anna was in my bedroom is beyond me. But she saw my journal, read it, and got mad at me because I said some things in there that she didn't like, like wanting her ass gone after she had her pot dealer come to my house. But whatever, if you're going to invade someone's privacy, you deserve any hurt feelings you get.

Stephanie's room reeks of stale cigarettes, weed, and bad cologne. We went Febreeze crazy the second Anna was out the door, and aired it out a bit. We'll probably have to burn some candles in there or something. She was a total slob too. Josh complained about it all the time, because she'd come home with pizza boxes and whatnot, and just leave it sitting for days at a time. Josh started tossing the boxes out so she just took them to the bedroom with her, and let them sit for days. The bathroom was a sty. Last week Josh was getting fed up, and then he went in Steph's room to put some laundry away. You know what he found in her pajama drawer? Anna's pot. Not to mention, there were Vicodin bottles all over the room. Gee, do you think maybe the illegal drugs were why she was broke? We knew she had them, so I suppose we bear some responsibility. But to just leave it sitting around a child's room? And using Stephanie's dresser for her pot?!?!

josh was fucking livid. As soon as Anna got home he told her she had to be out by the end of the weekend. So she was stomping and huffing around all week, bitching and moaning and having a pity party. I just saw her latest Facebook status whining about how her birthday is in two days and all she got was kicked out of her own home. She added a nice "gee, thanks guys" for effect.

Her own home? WTF?!?!?!

*breathes*

Anyway, that's all over with and I won't ever have to bitch about it again. Now to just get Ben out, because I would like to have MY house be MY house! I mean, I like Ben. And while nothing will change the fact that I'd rather it just be me and Josh, I'd be okay if Ben at least had a job. He goes to his friend's house every damn day, but is he looking for a job? Hell, he's actively turning down offers because they aren't what he wants to be doing, or they only pay $8 an hour. Really?

So, no, I don't particularly like the pot smoking, and I don't like his friends coming over, but I could deal with it, if he had a damn job!

*sigh*

One freeloader gone, one to go.
