yay! gods, long time no conversation, and facebook sux 0_o LJ's not at its best as well, plus new LJ policies got to reflect more & more of... unwise Russian legislation, so many people went, screw that, and moved out even if it doesn't concern them directly (yet). I'm keeping a blog here just in case, like this good one ;) (and you can even see a bit of me)
Which won't be of much use to you as we didn't have much contact before - I followed you ages ago because you wrote a discworld fanfic that I liked very much. So you're actually the reason I got my LJ ... but I'm mostly using it for a tiny german speaking fandom.
Many people are leaving LJ because it's owned by a russian company (again) and I guess many are afraid what this will mean to fandom and especially slash-Journals and communities. I'm still feeling at home here and I guess I won't go unless they delete my journal. But I got a backup journal at Dreamwidth (which I should update, really, I did the last backup two years ago or so ...)
Anyway, although we don't really know each other it's good to see that you are well. And congrats to becoming a great-grandma! :D

Thank you. I'm very fortunate that I see little Jack-Jack about three days a week, so I'm getting to bond with him and he recognizes me.
