First off, I am not here to bash or to complain to you personally on what you do personally. I'm simply here to leave a small comment on how you play Canada.
First off, you make him seem to unapproachable and very emotionless at times. I understand that he can be quite ignored at times and what not, but he often keeps it inside his head and even thought he wants to complain or what not, he ends up simply saying something like 'Oh you guys...' But your Canada however complains out loud and gets very emotional at times.
At times it is understandable if he gets in fights with America, but you seem to be making it quite often, which makes me wonder if your trolling, you know? And he also tends to be more of a silent type, and you play him a bit loudly, which I mean this isn't such a big deal, but you know...
Other than that, your pretty good at Canada. He wasn't made gay like a certain Canada muse we know, and your Canada seems to be mostly IC at times. Keep up with positivity and I know you can be the best out there! <3
I do appreciate this so much, thank you. Actually, this is what I secretly always hope for - the kind of constructive criticism where I can see what I need to fix, provided in a calm, rational manner. So for that, I am so very happy.
It especially helps because it's something that I've been starting to wonder about, myself. I've been a bit unhappy with how I've been doing things but I think this is also the wake-up call I needed to really be able to see where my deficiencies are. Plus, if I was completely honest, I think that I was letting my characterisation slip a bit and not really caring too much about it because I was on the fence about whether or not I wanted to drop or not.
Of course, I now realise how silly that is and how it's not an excuse at all to let characterisation slip no matter what, so I hope to get back in the groove and be true to IC-ness.
Anyway. I do hope that I can turn things around and make you proud, Anon. Once again, thank you so very much ♥.
