When the Chennai SuperKings team was first formed, I was hoping that the team's marketing managers would come up with ads that showed Dhoni and Co. dressed up in a blue lungi, a white vest, black goggles on their faces and cigarettes in their mouths to bring out the "nammaalu effect".
