So. I was feeling a little bit sad today so I told Gabby that I was going to have to write some Vincent/Ty in order to cheer me up. And now you will all have...THE LAMEST DRABBLE KNOWN TO MAN.
Vincent has never been to explain his friendship with Ty. It's not as though Vincent is especially cool or anything--in fact, he often thinks that Ty would be much better off having a best mate that was actually good to have around, one that wasn't constantly tripping over things and making things unbearably awkward for himself and everyone around him. He has plans to tell Ty all of this as they're sitting in his dorm after someone's birthday party (he can't remember whose, but after a few Firewhiskeys is that kind of thing really important?) and Ty is sitting awfully close to him, saying something Maggie or is it Suzie and he really just doesn't know anymore. So maybe it's the fact that he accidentally dipped into the spiked punch, or maybe it's because the once-inexplicable friendship has now become clear to him, or maybe he just isn't thinking straight, but Vincent makes up his mind in an instant and suddenly finds himself kissing Ty.
"You know," Ty says, pulling away slightly and looking at Vincent with a grin, "you're pretty good to have around."
And now I've written some Lucas/Mads.
Lucas thinks that Maddox Dixon is a pretty okay sort of guy, which always sends him into fits of laughter because he's pretty sure that Maddox hates him. It's the first time someone has hated him with his reciprocating the feeling, and Lucas spends a disproportionate amount of time thinking about it. Instead, he likes to amuse himself by coming up with clever nicknames. The thing that he doesn't find amusing, however, is how he finds himself getting jealous of Natalie and the fact that she can have Maddox whenever she wants. It's a strange feeling, and he decides to remedy it the only way he knows how: by snogging Maddox.
At first it's awkward because the only other time Lucas has snogged Maddox was when he is drunk, and this time he's perfectly sober and knows exactly what he's doing. Maddox doesn't seem to mind, even breathlessly offering to help Lucas out of his shirt when the two come to the realization that they are alone in an empty classroom...
And here is some Aodhan/Eugene.
After seven years of living with the prat otherwise known as Aodhan Kinsella, Eugene is probably the happiest person alive once his last and final day at Hogwarts arrives. In fact, he is the happiest person alive, simply because he can't bear the idea of anyone being happier than he is at that moment of time--and if he finds someone happier, he'll just figure out a way to blackmail them back into their usual state. However, when Aodhan makes his way into the nearly-empty common room looking like he's just won the lottery, Eugene finds himself irrationally curious as to why Kinsella is looking so pleased. He walks up to the other boy, meaning to ask him what the bloody hell he's so happy about, when he finds himself being kissed, roughly and forcefully, instead.
Eugene means to say something along the lines of 'Do that again and I really will knit you a hat of poison' but all that comes out is, "What took you so long, Kinsella?"
Chloe/Sam...AKA the point where my brain decides to break into a million and a half pieces.
It's been a long day and all Chloe can think about as wanders the halls is all of the bad things that have happened, which is a strange phenomenon indeed for someone who usually likes to dwell on the good. When she finds Sam sitting in a sunlight window, reading about that is no doubt boring and much too complex for Chloe to understand, she can't help but take the book from the girl's hands, throw it into the hallway, and immediately begin crying on Sam's shoulder. She has no second thoughts about whether or not this is appropriate, and has no third, or fourth, or fifth thoughts about the kisses she begins to lightly place on Sam's neck. At first she's afraid of rejection, but upon feeling the other girl's arms wrapping around her waist and the soft sighs, Chloe decides that the only thing inappropriate about this is the fact that they're in the middle of a very public hallway--but that's what makes it exciting, isn't it?
Just to let you all know, my brain BROKE as I was writing this and I am NEVER EVER DOING IT AGAIN. *DIES*
