Vincent looked pale, worried even, he kissed her lips however, feeling a boost of energy from her soft lips.
"My uncle, he'd of woken up an hour ago..." he said softly, "I need to get back..." he looked unhappy, like he couldn't bare to leave her side, because he didn't know if he could see her again during the holidays.
The smile fell from her face and Scarlette pushed the blankets off. Already wearing an old t-shirt, she stood next to Vincent and took both of her hands in his.
"Thank you for last night," she whispered before leaning in to place a gentle kiss on his lips.
Vincent didn't want the kiss to end, her lips against his own they lingered far to long and he kissed her neck slightly, "I'm going to miss you...take care for me ok? I'll send an owl when I can I promise you" he told her, eyes searching for the hope he would see her again.
