Please stop with the abscesses. They hurt, having them taken care of is expensive, and the ER docs should not know me on sight dammit! Being greeted with "hey our frequent flyer!" Is not cool. I so can not keep dealing with this shit! Exhausted and sore. Lidocaine never numbs me all the way. I tell them every time. They never listen. So

Dammit, if you can feel it with lidocaine, you may be lidocaine-insensitive (I'm completely insensitive, some people are partially insensitive), and other local anesthetics ARE available -- insist that they try Marcaine next time. It's an equivalent local, and it actually WORKS on me.

I asked about antibiotics because of you and this time I have them! Thanks so much for that article. I'll keep in mind about the topical. I asked my husband to pick up my meds... He forgot and the pharmacy closed an hour ago. >_
