The last time I updated about anything of substance in 2009 was in July, right after we got Jackson.

I think he was a big reason as to why I stopped updating so much. Right after we got him we discovered that the poor thing had THREE different types of parasites in him. He could have easily died. Thanks to a LOT of trips to Banfield and a ( Read more... )

Did you like divine mis? I liked it allright, but wasn't hugely thrilled at it. :(

Yeah I agree, it was okay but definitely not as good as Swallowing Darkness. Overall it seemed like LKH was repetitive and not a whole lot seemed to happen in the book.

--Gilda was in ONE scene after the hype on the book flap so that was pointless.
--Barinthus was a whiny bitch.
--Royal getting the ability to grow human size was no surprise, I had a feeling that was coming.
--The idea of a demi-fae serial killer was cool but just not enough to carry the book with everything going on.
--I want to know more about Wyn.
--And I'm pissed that they still haven't addressed the issue of Merry's rape by Taranis.
