[Locals] Beer Tasting and News!

News:
  • Beer tasting has been going apace as has my brother and I playing Tales of Symphonia.
  • I'm applying to the University of Alabama Birmingham as a backup school. Mainly because they solicited me and seem desperate... and I am drawn to desperation as it implies need, and I like to help people fill their needs (hur, perfect setup).

    I'd love to make it to a beer tasting, hehe.

    Also, being single, meh. Try going for three years, lol.

    Also Also, Tales of has always been a rather awesome series of games.

    It's not just that you've been scarce. I've been pretty scarce too... just call in the evening (i.e. after about 8pm) to have an optimal chance of catching me away from the lab and outta kung-fu 'cause I miss talking to you too.

    Belhaven - A very smooth drinkable beer with a dark, deep flavor. It has a decent amount of malt and a truly great balance between sweetness and punch. The 5.2% ABV is below notice and there is a distinctive nutty flavor. I think this is the best pub beer yet. I give it an A.

    Tetley's - It's a decent ale with very little taste. It tastes like straw, faintly... But with the same excellent texture one would expect from a quality pub ale. I give this beer a B- for its lack of flavor... And its great texture.
