Come at 8:30pm!vindonnusMarch 4 2010, 16:07:18 UTC
I usually start the actual tasting of beer at 8:30pm, although I try to be home by 8pm to socialize/cool down from work before hand.
Also, keep in mind that alcohol content on these beers is quite low (2.4% ABV for the St. Louis and 4% for the Lindeman's) so I imagine you could probably go up to a small glass worth without really worrying about it. This is the kinda beer that a lush like me needs to remind himself that there's more to a good beer than alcohol... like awesome fruity flavors.
Lindeman's Peche - Excellently flavorful, just as I remember it. Very tart and tastes a lot like a cider. The peach flavor is present but not overwhelming. Still a favorite. It also has a bit of soda-like sweetness and carbonation on the nose. A
St. Louis - Darker and more beer-like. It has a lot of malt complexity with a very light body. It's not as tasty as the other beer, in my opinion, but it's a bit more complex. B
Lindeman's Framboise - Tangier with a strong raspberry presence. Like the peach only with more pronounced syrupy notes. B+
