Given what you do for a living, you are probably a pretty aweseom planner. thus, you probably work best within the confines of a project plan and not having one can be scary (I like plans, too). But one thing to keep in mind is that a lot of people have no plan and they just let things happen and they just "do" and then react to what occurred. So, you want to have kids but you are unsure about your living situation? Well, you have a whole pregnancy and at least six months until you need to move, so maybe just do that kid thing and figure out what the ideal situation would be later (most people I know, myself included, moved while pregnant, it is no big thang). Chris only wants to work certai places. Okay, but priorities change with kids so live close to the city now and the rest will follow. You may not have the ideal job now, but getting pregnant at your company seems to inspire your company to let people stiop traveling. Once you are pregnant, they have to figure it out. Beth - I really agree with what your friend Rachel posted - if you get preggers in the somewhat near future, you know your company would most likley support you working from home - might be the next best thing to 6 months off...it's worth thinking about.
