British English is not a Foreign Language

So I looked on my roster of ESL students and their respective languages, and one student's foreign language is listed as British English. I talked with the other ESL teachers, one of whom is from New Zealand, and we all agreed that it must be a joke, or that the student grew up in some place like Jamaica and perhaps spoke another language as well

That seems completely absurd! Lots of native English speakers could use a little extra help... putting him into an ESL class because he has an accent and a slightly different vocabulary is ridiculous.
