This is so much better described than my experiences with this unpleasantness - very poignant.

It sounds unbearably hokey, but this will make you a better person in the end if you continue to see all facets / emotions of the crap that is unemployment - even if it seems to make you a puddle of insecurities right now.

I'm sorry Vince.
I'm sorry that when we need help in our lives, so often we are met with callous, soulless drone idiots who should be isolated on an island somewhere.
I hope that upon your journey you are met with kind eyes and a warm heart, an open ear, a bright mind, a welcoming smile.
I want to compliment your writing. I want you to know we are all MOVED...that it takes such balls and skill and heart to recreate your feelings in another. We felt like we were there with you. Sadly standing next to you, like children holding hands in a line of defense against cruelty and loneliness.
