on september 6th assembly bill 849, which would legalize gay marriage, was passed in california and is currently awaiting the signature or veto of governor arnold schwarzenegger. you can support the passing of this bill by calling his office at 1-916-445-2841 ( this number can be found at at www.governor.ca.gov ) and following these steps
