Opinions, and give details/explanations
o1. Self Mutilation ;; I used to do this, cut. and a lot of people say cutters do so for attention. I couldn’t disagree more. its more of a cry for help. its possible for someone to feel so invisible, so down, so sad that the only thing to match the emotional pain is to make it physical. because in todays society it seems like everything is about peoples physical appearance. no one looks deep enough to see whats going on inside. they see the smile, and its okay. now, I think self mutilation is so wrong. sometimes, the only thing a person wants is someone to listen, someone to care; someone to really see the inside.
o2. Abortion ;; i am against it, though i think it should be the woman's choice. its her and her situation. although its horrible to hear teenagers having sex and getting abortions because they aren't ready for the child, but they were ready for the sex. just be responsible.
o3. George W. Bush ;; i was more of a Kerry supporter, but being Bush has won the election and whatnot, i suppose the only thing to do is give him another chance. a lot of people seem to be worried about what he has done with Iraq, once that is through its about us again, and i am eager to see what he wants to do with America.
o4. Gay Marriage ;; love is love, regardless of gender. the end.
o5. Eating disorders ;; my best friend was anorexic in seventh grade. it was terrible. i blamed myself for it and i shouldn't have and i knew in the end that i couldn't have done anything. i think that its societys that pushes the ideas of looking a certain way and being thin.sometimes its her peers, and they are (in my opinion) a lot worse than any sort of media. name calling is terrible. some girls get so down on themselves, they do things and its horrible.
o6. Suicide ;; a permanent solution to a temporary problem. (cliché?)
o7. Vintage ;; is pretty sweet. except i have the hardest time finding things that look somewhat decent on me!
