I have no idea how I could even begin to post on everything that's happened since I last posted at all. So I'm not going to try, save to say that I've been through way too many temp jobs to be sane anymore. (Not that I was ever particularly sane to begin with, admittedly

It sounds like life has been pretty good despite being busy, so hooray for that. <3
I've got a holiday card picked out for you already, but I'm not sure what address to send it to so if you could send that my way that would be lovely, m'dear. I failed hardcore last year so I'm DETERMINED to get cards out this year, darn it.

Aw yay! I will PM you presently. <3 And then you must PM me with yours, because while I probably have past posts somewhere in the ether, I have no idea who has moved.

I haven't even checked out my flist yet as I suspect it is a barren wasteland of people who assumed me dead/uninterested in coming back! I was just going around checking out journals of people with whom I don't speak IRL and was happy to see an update from you : D
Have you ever considered doing a stint at Disney to get some sewing cred and then coming back up to NYC? I don't know anything about that world but it seems like a lot of costume people are employed by Disney for their actors.
Burlesque <3! I saw an act before a The Good, The Bad, and The Queen show in DC a few years back and they were AMAZING! Do you have any recommendations for venues?
Blah, indeed! I hope for your sake it's during early December! If not, I'm pretty sure that there is a law that New Yorkers are allowed to trample 10 tourists per holiday season before any legal repercussions ; D
I'd love a holiday card! :DDDD

I have considered Disney, even if only applying. I've considered attempting a lot of different things. But Disney isn't a place I think I'd survive. I'm not a huge fan of Florida heat. And I'm not sure at this point that I even want to be in costuming enough to try.
Most of the Burlesque in NYC happens at various bars around town. You just have to know who's playing where. Geek Boys happened at R Bar but I'm not sure if/when they're coming back. D20 is also geek themed and usually happens at The Parkside Lounge. Other shows happen when places are available so they're totally random. But Geek Boys and D20 are terrific shows!
I would LOVE to be signed in Dec., even if I couldn't be moved in. At least I'd feel like it was all going somewhere. And tourists trampled in my haste to move would at least know it was trampling for a good cause.
PM thy address, I'll send you one!
