On anxiety attacks. I was told that taking courses in "cognitive therapy" is very helpful. If you are on a health plan and your hospital's mental health services offer classes in it then see if you can sign up for it. Pretty much what I've been told happens is you deprogram yourself from what causes the attacks and then reprogram new behavior. It's very successful depending on the person's commitment level. I was told that if one gets off the medication the person is back to square one and will continue to get attacks if there isn't some behavior modification included. Hope that helps.
