Why can't everyone be equal ?

I worked the phones and held up signs and yet it still passed.

I was livid that it passed, especially since now that means the people who did get married there now have their marriages annulled. I could rant on forever about how much I hate Prop 8; just... it makes me so mad, especially since it was so close to not passing. Just depressing. :(
