Hello ladies, I'm new to this community but thought i would share one of my vintage hair looks and some inspiration and aspirations (hairwise)

Is your hair pulled back or just cut really short? I am actually growing out my shaved head and can't seem to find any cute short hair photos that are similar to vintage styles... And well... Your hair looks really cute! Do you by any chance have any more photos of your hair? Just for a reference really, I wouldn't get the ~same~ cut or anything. ~.^

My hair was long then, pinned up at that back and round at the sides and top. Now my hair is short, a very short bob, today i have a similar hair do going on with the back of my hair pinned up (harder to pin though because there is a lot less hair there)I have a longish side fringe too and quite short layers.

Your hair looks cute! Are you sure you want to go platinum though? It might look a little sickly with your skin tone. But good luck!

I think platinum looks good on pale skins too but only in a short hairstyle for a trendy look, long i would just look like a white witch!

Oh I agree, I just know a few women with naturally really dark hair who tried going platinum but the hair never made it to fully white blonde and was instead more yellow ish. I think that all depends on your hair, but alas I am no expert, I'm sure someone else can give you better advice than I :)

I'm naturally a redhead so once the black is stripped out it will go to an auburn colour first of all (my hairdresser did a strand test last time I was in the salon) then id have to wait a few weeks and get it stripped to a strawberry blonde, repeat the process to finally get to a platinum blonde. I have been considering an ash blonde but think that could wash me out to much! By the way, I'm loving your hair!

You're lovely! I hope you have fun with the strawberry blonde phase and take some photos before it's gone for good, because I think that may be the ultimate color for you. :0

I tend to think pale ladies can pull off any hair color a bit easier than other gals, but only if their skin isn't either too pink or too olive--somewhere in the middle. Looking at how your skin photographs, you look like you may be one of those lucky girls!

Wow that is a compliment and a half :) thank you. Dita is one of my idols so I'm happy to look even vaguely like her!
