So, I finally got to use Lottabody setting lotion, which was sent to me by 0miss_jayne0. Unfortunately, my hair didn't set long enough and didn't dry (it was only damp when I rolled it and I let it set for at least 5 hours - that's how much my hair doesn't like to dry. I was a last minute thrown together "flapper" for Halloween (basically a frilly dress, homemade hairclip and failed curls with way uncomfortable heels). I originally tried to do finger waves but I worked that morning and didnt have enough time; they didn't have time to dry and looked like crap. I finally found the trick to make the victory rolls, that is - Backcombing!! It's way easier... it's important to use a curling iron or some heated rollers to help the curve of the rolls... but back combing is the trick!

im sure you guys are getting sick of seeing halloween pictures, because it seems like this commuinty blows up during halloween time. however. i work as a lighting technician with a clunky headset so i cant really do vintage hair. halloween was my day to finally do some vintage stuff
