Rubbing his eyes as the last vestiges of sleep dissipated the following morning, Reid felt the warmth of the body that was still wrapped around his own. This was the first time in his life that he’d ever awakened in someone’s arms and, like all of the other firsts he’d experienced with Luke, he quickly decided that he never wanted to live

Okay, so I managed to stay away for about 30 minutes. Yeah. What else is new? And the second I realized you started this epilogue the morning after, I knew! God, I could have known 30 minutes earlier! No more worries! Come train, cancer, hell or high water - Reid and Luke deserve a happy ending, the sooner the better!

On a side note - and I truly wish I could use a smaller font, I just do not know how to do that - you like Owen Hunt? *lets go of embarrassment and sighs relieved* I ehhh, I do, too. I know he's not Reid, obviously *rolls eyes*, but still...
And then there is this other redhead, not a doctor, a soldier, not Reid either, but with a wonderful crooked smile... Do you happen to write any ff for him too?! *is not begging, is she?*

I'm glad the epilogue worked for you...I really wasn't sure if I should include it or not.

Owen Hunt is dreamy. Honestly, he's the only reason I keep tuning in to Grey's. I've always thought the other doctors were fine looking gentlemen, but there's just something about that man that gets me.

This is the only fandom that I write for...but I'm curious who the other redhead is?

I guess it's his (Owen's) vulnerability - he is Reid, without the barb. Yeah, dreamy. Man, does he need a lot of comforting...

Anyway, the other redhead - maybe you're just not that into him, because I think you wouldt have recognized him if you knew him, so I'm sorry to bother you with this - ... it's Nick Brody (Homeland, needs a lot of comforting too), in a former tv-life he was (sergeant or captain or colonel, I don't know these army ranks) Dick Winters, who liberated Europe with his band of brothers...
I guess I like them red and rather reserved, vulnerable, headstrong and oh so cute ;)

I think this was my first "divine" and I'm tickled pink. Although I know that I can always count on you for words of encouragement, every single comment means the world to me.

I like my stories wrapped up with shiny red bows, so I was thrilled you went on to write the epilogue (although I can understand wanting to leave it where you wanted to because that was a great spot, too). This was such a compelling and well-told story. Luke's reaction to having sex with Reid the first time and Reid's reaction to finding out he had cancer felt very real and in-character.

Loved it, mybabci. One of the best Lure stories I've read in quite awhile!

Why do you have to be so nice to me? I am so behind on reading fic (hubby's longer work hours, end of the school year for both myself and the kids, and this RBB to write) and I know you've updated that WIP of yours numerous times since my last comment.

But, I have to admit that, although it makes me feel a bit guilty, I do love hearing from you. You always know just what to say to make me breathe a sigh of relief that the fic didn't come off as total crap.

LOL. No need for guilt! I've been on several hiatuses from reading/writing over the past two years, and certainly there's no obligation to feel like you must read or comment on anything of mine ever. I totally get how RL and writing gets in the way of reading. Sometimes I miss the days when I was just a lurker who'd never written a word--I seemed to have more time then!

I am so glad that you didn't hate it. While I hoped that the story wouldn't fall completely flat for the fandom, your opinion was foremost on my mind.

Honestly, your video was just perfection and I really felt that there was no way I could possibly do it justice. It stands on its own, really.
