Thanks for being so patient about the comics this week, everybody. It's been a crazy, work-heavy week. But I have a gift for you all! An animation I did in Inside 2D Animation Class, which I composited JUST FOR YOU!!

Yes, pencil/paper animation is freaking TOUGH. And tedious. But seeing your art come to life like that is very rewarding, though.

To me, the jump seems to move a bit slow (for a jump anyways) at the top of the arc.. But hell, I'm an animation school dropout, what do I know? :P

It is. I actually jumped the frame rate up from 24 FPS to 30 FPS, and took out a bunch of in-betweens, and it still takes too long at the top of the arc.

I did way too much unecessary work for this one.

It took me about-- uh-- probably 8-10 hours of off and on work. The final frame count was 53.

Looks highly professional. In an internet ruled by flash, it's good to see some hand drawn animation, however brief in may be.
