First of all I want to say that I hope everyone had a good new year's!  Mine was very relaxed and mainly just spent it with Harper and a few of his friends.  I missed you guys and feel bad for not being there, things just worked out better that I be in Burbank, but I hope everyone had a blast

haha, indeed. Just haven't been very active online. I've just been doing the school, work, boyfriend thing. Nothing too exciting. Although Harper and I are going to see the Garth Brooks concert on Saturday! I'm way stoked about that. What about you? How have you been doing?

I am doing really well. I started classes at Channel Islands on Tuesday. I've been doing the school, family, boyfriend juggling act which can be tricky. I've just been really stressed out about classes because I was admitted the 16th which was after registration had ended. So it's been interesting to run around a new school trying to add classes along with 15 people who are actually on the wait list. I'm also hoping to get a job soon. But I have no idea where to look because, like you, the last thing I need is a job that is mentally taxing. Where do you find those? But I'm glad you found one.

btw, do you have Mansfield for English? Your coursework sounds suspiciously like his.

oh, you didn't tell me you got a job! did it end up being in banking again?
how are classes going? you do sound happy, but maybe a little tired. they aren't really bad, are they?

everything is good here. freezing cold and rainy, and sad about heath ledger, but good.

It was very sudden, happened right before classes started. It's actually in this little coin collecting shop in Simi Valley. I'm basically the office bitch...but it's just me and the owner so it's really chill. He lets me listen to music or do whatever I want while I do little projects, and then sometimes I run errands, like bring items to different stores that want to buy them in like woodland hills, la, etc. I like it cuz there's no corporate shit to deal with and it's just very relaxed, you kno? So, that helps. I think I'd go slightly crazy if I had a job that was mentally taxing. Classes are good, i'm just taking so many it's hard to keep track of all of them. But, ya, overall I am very happy. Just trying to balance the 3 big parts of my life (work, school, boyfriend)...i'm sure a lot of people can relate. how are your classes going? and yes, very sad-and unexpected about Heath Ledger. :-(

classes are going ok. again it's two hard ones and two easy ones, so they balance out well. midterms are next week though, so we're all starting to panic.

that's always kind of odd...how I'm in my third week of classes and you're already almost to midterms. lol. I'm taking way too many classes, 8--it adds up to 19 units cuz i'm taking a ballroom dance class and a swing class...so those aren't really stressful--they just take up two nights of my week. But they're a lot of fun. I'm taking an english class that is really annoying--he requires a page response to every reading, and there are about 2 every week. So ya, that's fun...But I'm sure once I get into the swing of things I'll be able to handle everything a bit better.

On top of it all, I volunteered to do costumes with YAE on the show coming up...before school started. I know that it's valuable experience, but now i'm kinda regretting the time commitment. February is gonna be a tough month...that's all. I kind of feel like I'm back in high school--having way too much shit to do and not enough time! Speaking of, I need to start reading! haha. Miss you!!
