A dragon, a dragon, I really saw a dragon!

A subject line that means nothing, except I just watched Pete's Dragon. Speaking of Disney, I consider myself inadvertantly Disney obsessed simply because I worked on the college program at Walt Disney World for 8 months...and I'm going back. So I find myself talking about the parks, about the movies, etc. and it drives my loved ones insane. I love ( Read more... )

You're going back? I wish I could; I wanted to do the Seasonal thing, but I couldn't get off with my new job. And it's a really great job - I work with Fidelity as a 401k Specialist! I answer the phones and take care of people's retirements and the stock market and tell them, "Don't freak! The market did NOT crash like the news is hyping!"

As for the music thing, you can customize your journal so that it doesn't say Music there; it could say Media or whateva you want! =D

I still can't believe you found me! XD How did you, by the way? You said you searched, but I've only got my user name around here...

:D I used your myspace url (under the contact box, where it says myspace.com/patriot_jackie) assumed the last part was your online handle, and gave it a shot :p I knew you were an LJ fanatic, so I figured it was worth a try ^_^

Yeah, the seasonal thing is tough...I thought 40 hours, no problem! Well...its harder than it seems :'( I'm going back for a professional internship simply because I'm busy with school during the semester and I don't have a job :p

Haha! I'm sorry you have to deal with all the frantic-ness...but I'm sure it has its payoffs :) *SQUEE* I'm so excited to be in contact again! YAY!

You are so smart! XD I didn't know what I was going to do about the Myspace thing; I still don't. I suppose I'll tinker with getting a new password some more... Maybe it was just having issues that night. *crosses fingers*

I figured the 40 hours thing would be difficult; most of the time I was there, I had 32-36 hours per week outside of the holiday seasons. I only had 5 vacation days for 2006, and I needed them for other stuffs. I would have spent more money going down there than I'd make, anyway. Which, for the experience, I wouldn't mind - except that I would have to be working on what's supposed to be my vacation, and that just seems wrong somehow. lol

So the professional one; what are you gonna be doing? Much different from the regular one?

Animal Kingdom Education Presenter...I think they take 20 or so, they do the conservation stands throughout the park that show off spiders in boxes and like tree bark and stuff. It's pretty exciting since I'm an Env. Bio major, so I have my fingers crossed on getting it! :3

Yeah 40 hours...insanity. Fortunately, I found out from my coordinator they don't really count it; they'll just check through the system and weed out people who haven't worked at all, and I've got 27 hours :p
