NEWS Live Live Live concert report Tokyo, 26.-27. Sept
This is going to be pretty messy because I didn't write anything down. And I'm going to mix both days up.
But first a couple of notes:
- Shige should cut his hair
- Ryo and Yamapi should eat something
- Tegoshi's voice is way too high

- My seats were always in the 3rd stand which is the highest to the top. On the first day we also sat pretty far away but the second day was the 6th row so that was lot closer, and it was always closer to the main stage.
I stole the setlist from aya_3003 but the songs were the same all the time so that doesn't matter.
Opening
There were messages from every member but I have no clue what they said. The fans were screaming so I guess it was something good haha
They popped out of ballons one after another. The costumes were sparkly and every member wore their own colors.
Koi no ABO
I think that was on the center stage.
On the second day Massu wore weird sunglasses they talked about later during the MC
weeeek
Member ai par excellence.
At first Massu, Tegoshi and Koyama were hugging and Tegoshi and Koyama disturbed Massu during his part.
During Ryo's part, Pi and Shige were close.
On the first day RyoPi were hugging and when Shige came from the other side, Ryo just pushed him away. lol So much for RyoShige
Sakura Girl
They wore weird pink outfits and first danced in the center stage and then walked around, waving and stuff.
I figured that TegoMassu do a lot of waving and Koyama also does a decent lot of waving. Whenever Yamapi waves everyone goes crazy. Tego and Massu also pay a lot of attention to the audience in the upper stands while Ryo and Shige almost all the time only wave to the ones standing more near them.
SUMMER TIME
They danced. Honestly I don't remember anything special lol
Akaku Moyuru Taiyo
I think they walked around again. Every member introduced themselves.
Shige has to run to the platforms and I think he slipped or did as if he slipped on the second day lol
Hoshi wo Mezashite
Honestly I almost cried during that song. It has nothing to do with the concert but with me singing that at karaoke. And it was dark and everyone had their penlights on and that just looked so awesomely beautiful
Dacin' in the Secret
I still only understand Jesse in the Secret. lol The dance was pretty cool with fire flames and stuff.
After that they introduced themselves again.
On the second day Shige wanted us to first scream Live Live Live. In the end he wanted us to scream Shige. So he screamed "Shige!" and everyone was like "SHIGEEEE" and then he said "Uwah, that feels so good." and Koyama came towards him and Shige clung onto him not stopping about how great it feels to hear people say his name and Koyama was like "Shut up" and pushing him backwards so they could go from the center stage back to the main stage.
Boku no Cinderella (Tegomass)
They were riding the elephants. And during the middle they spray steam or something.
At the end Massu's elephant didn't stop fuming and Massu was at first looking like '-.- and then caressing the elephant's head and being like "Oh please come on, go out." and Tegoshi was laughing and saying something I didn't catch and then he was like "Stop" and because he is TeGod of course the thing stopped.
Yoru no Hoshi wo Nagameteokuru (Tegomass)
I did not really pay attention because I don't like TegoMassu and therefore took a short mental break. But the lights were nice and the song is also kind of nice, I have to admit.
Iitai Dake (Koyashige)
This is probably the most ridiculous song ever. And therefore they have the most ridiculous costumes ever.
Do you remember these awful costumes with the flower pattern News wore in one of their singles?
Now imagine that in blue and in baroque style. If that sounds ridiculous to you then you have the image.
They both wore glasses. Which was very mean because even though Shige's hairstyle is an absolute no go he still looks hot as ever with glasses. I swear I almost jumped down there sifxdihdgih
Back to the song:
The dance was also ridiculous. BTW.
And I think the whole song is about things you always wanted to say but shouldn't say because they make no sense. I don't know.
The song was accompanied by pictures of the things they sung about and pictures of them doing silly poses. I assume they fit the lyrics.
Anyway they have a kind of game segment. They are given a theme and have to say something that actually no one should say. Unfortunately I did not get at all what it was all about. All I know is that they interrupted Shige after one word lol
And for the last thing, they went backstage and the other members have to do that.

Yamapi had his laptop open and was shamelessy advertising the dynabook lol Okay honestly I forgot what he said. But I was a bit distracted by the fact that he's SO skinny it looks so awful. You can actually see the bones on his shoulders and it's just disgusting. I hoope he gains weight very soon again.
Ryo was Ryo and therefore probably being fail.
Endless Summer
More Member ai. I think in the end it was group molesting. I have no clue.
But I think this was when on the second day Yamapi took Tegoshi bridal style until Tegoshi protested lol
And on the first day Ryo was molesting Massu. Ryo really has a thing for Massu lately. Or more like everyone has a thing for Massu lately. They kind of always keep molesting him so he stops singing.
Sayaendou
The carts appeared. They threw a couple of balls and waved around (apart from Ryo who kind of more often than not looked a bit like he knew thousands places he rather wanted to be. I don't get him)
Taiyou no Namida
They started at the front stage but then changed to the carts again to complete the round

I think they walked around during this
Umareshi Kimi e
Erm. I can't remember that song Oo It's only like 2 hours away.

I wasn't really trying to listen on the first day but it was something about their siblings and heights. Check the MCs for that day.
On the second day they talked about how their family called them. Shige complaint that his parents apparently call him Shige-chan lately and Koyama almost broke down laughing.
Massu is called Taka (Someone asked "Do they call you Massu?") and Tegoshi is Yuya (The same person asked whether they call him Tegoshi and he was like lol no) and Yamapi's family call him Nii-chan. lol
Then they talked about what they are currently up to. Yamapi has his movie coming up, Koyama has his stage play, Massu is guesting in a drama and Shige is planning on staying genki lol
code (Ryo Solo)
On the first day Ryo said his parents were there (remember it's Tokyo Dome) and that he will therefore do his bist (Gambarimasu). He starts Code accustic and a capella and that sounds a lot better because he doesn't yell.
On the second day he says Jin is there, and that he is just a nice and friendly guy (erm yes. Of course '-.-). He started playing Jin's Care with only his accoustic guitar but then messes up and starts laughing. But he plays it to the chorus I think.
Then he plays Code
Naiyou no Nai Tegami
They played this on the main stage and kept oppoing up and disappearing. Also on the screens their lines were written in their own handwriting. Ryo's handwriting is just plain awful and messy.
Happy Birthday
Koyama said they have their anniversary and therefore play Happy Birthday.
NEWS Nippon
Nostalgic. They walked around and on the screens appeared pictures of their younger days.
Cherish
I swear everone was dancing to this and it looks so beautiful. We were to sing I think Ryo's or Tegoshi's lines again.
One in a Million (Yamapi solo)
Yamapi appears in sunglasses and the fans screamed. He had four juniors at backdancers and apart from Question as the band that were all of the other Johnny's by the way.
The dance was cool but then again it's Yamapi. The only disturbing thing was that his costume blinked because there were glowsticks along the seams.
When the song was over he told us to switch off our penlights.
On the second he said something like "Please turn your penlights off, even though I'm still blinking". Then he was laughing. Oh wow Yamapi made a joke xD
Then he told us to switch it to blinking mode.
Forever
I swear I love this song. It's one of my faves from Color even though the rap is ridiculous and SHige should get punished for writing this jenglish but whatever. With the blinking penlights it was so awesome.
Yamapi kind of messed up his rap on the second day because he couldn't hold the rhythm. Rib it forever!
SNOW EXPRESS
I know many people don't like this song but I do. I think this is where Shige started wearing weird hats.
Wonderland
During this song they end up on the main stage. When it's KoyaTego's part they hug and then switch places. Then it's RyoMassu's part and they also hug. On the first day Ryo had Massu in some kind of death grip and I think on some days he kissed Massu's cheek or licked his ear or whatever. On the second though he pushed Massu away and tried escaping but Massu is stubborn and then pulled him towards him.
Then ShigePi hug. On the first day it was bit awkward but on the second Pi had Shige in a death grip.
Then they disappear backstage. Then when the part "Don't sail away" comes they fly up into the air with cages attached to balloons.
TEPPEN
During Teppen they start they journey around the hall and they almost reach the second stand.
On the first day we were so high though that we didn't see them too well, or more like they could not see us. But Koyama the poor guy had a really tough time. Because he's afraid of heights he always clutches onto the bar with one hand so he can hardly wave and he looks a bit stiff.
Kibou ~Yell~
So for this song they meet in the middle at the corner and then fly as high as possible so that the people there also have something of them.
On the second day we were on the third stand but 6th row so that was pretty close to the front. And when Shige drifted by (which took for forever because he came from the other side) I held up my Tsuge uchiwa and I could swear he saw it because he was making like kanji signs and laughing. But I was too far away too be completely sure.
Also during the bounce with me part, Ryo actually bounces like crazy. The cage sways a lot and on the second day Shige did the same and copied Ryo.
We remember that Koyama could hardly move because he was so scared haha

It's the song they partied the most to. On the second day Ryo only stood around and at some point did his Lady Gaga dance (I swear he did, like only swaying his hips) and that was the beginning of fail Ryo.
A bit of member ai and group hugging, mainly from Tegohis's and Koyama's side. Yamapi pointed Weird in Jelly into the camera.

Fail Ryo par excellance. This is where they throw their cards.
You have to imagine that in the corner there is still a net between the stage and the audience, okay?
Now Ryo stands in that corner and throws his card. Naturally it hits the net and comes back down. So he tries again. And then again. And then he gets upset and yells at probably no one in particular.
Then he tries again.
Then he gives up and continues walking. Then he tries at another point again but misses the audience by a bit. He resignates, crouches down and pouts. lol
Then he has to run back to the main stage where the rest is moving to. But his pants slip from his hips and we got a very (not so) nice view of pink underwear. Things I do not want to see, thank you very much.

Here they all went crazy. They let us sing most of the time haha
On the first day Ryo made a girl in the front row sing his part and Yamapi borrowed red star sunglasses from a girl.
Okay that was it Damn that was long. And not very informative. I'm sorry. I just came back but can't remember half of it anymore lol I really get to old for it.
What I discovered is, that even if they are small, it's always possible to tell them apart.
Koyama is the guy who looks funny when he dances because his limbs are just too long haha
Shige is the one with the ugly hairstyle or the one bending his arm weirdly or the one who tries looking cool when he dances but it ends up looking messy because he does not tense his muscles at all.
Massu is easy to spot because of the pants.
Ryo is easy because of the way he walks.
Yamapi because he has this leather glove.
And the rest is Tegoshi haha
Now that was definitely it. Part of me wishes to go again tomorrow but I think I made a lot of nice memories already. I am just going to live my life, strongly believing that Shige saw and reacted to my uchiwa and be happy :D
And I ended up buying the bag after all lol Also I want the towel so desperately but it's always sold out :( I hope aya_3003 manages to get me one tomorrow.
