Oh, hey, I won. I suppose I should write something about it.

This totally came out of nowhere. I went in expecting to be mediocre (and knowing that there was nothing wrong with mediocrity in a field this ridiculously dense with talented players). I thought all of our games were competitive and fun. In the last one, you definitely got me on the ropes with your blitzkrieg. I haven't looked over it yet, but I had a blank and close to bingo racks right near the start and got myself in time pressure looking. Later, when I played GROAN, I was holding AAGINOR and had a difficult decision and felt that I couldn't spend too much time thinking about it, as I was already down to just a few minutes. I think I had the right idea, but I should have played ORIGAN in the same spot. It could have made a big difference playing off that extra vowel. I thought of IGNARO, but in my haste to make a play didn't manage to think of the anagram I needed in time.
