Is it wrong to open a CD and download it to my itunes and then give it to someone as a birthday present?

I mean, I'm gonna do it anyway. I just want to find out if it's rude.

Nah. I mean, you'd end up just asking them if you could borrow it and download it anyway which means they would have to wait longer to listen to it themselves. Might as well take care of business beforehand. ;)
