well, jeff ended up getting a call to go run a route around 12:30, so i've been sitting around here looking for jobs. i dunno when he gets back, but he's gonna call me as soon as he's done. i hope it doesn't last til 9 or 10 tonight. :/ it's local, though ( Read more... )

lmao! i noticed that after i posted mine! how funny!! :) jeff's doesn't really fit him. in a way it does, in a way it doesn't. same with mine. eh. *shrugs*

Is your bf a truck driver?

yeah, he just started driving trucks again yesterday. he quit after his ex wife left him last year... he wanted a change. he'd been driving for 4 years before then. he didn't really want to get back into it, he'd rather do something else, but it's the quickest way for him to make money. he and i are ready to move the hell out of our parents house and into a place together.

(about the same time last year, my 4 1/2 yr relationship crumbled and he found out his ex was cheating on him and she left him. we both moved in with our parents. weird how 2 people's lives can parallel. we have a LOT of weird instances like that. we could've/should've met 5 or 6 different times but didn't until last summer before his marriage fell apart. we have mutual friends, so he started hanging around our friends more after it all happened, as did i, and we hit it off instantly.)

It sounds similar to how me and my bf met. We had all the same friends and multiple chances to meet. But I guess we didn't till the time was right.

That sucks he has to do truck driving. They have all weird hours and lots of demands. I hope once you move in together, he can get something else so you won't have to miss him too much... it must be really hard now.

luckily, he's got a regular truck driving job to where it's from 8-5 everyday, except for the rare opportunity that he has to drive to austin or the like and be there at 6am.

he's hoping to get on with the city here. that'd be alot better for him.
