Met up with E-Wei today to visit the Science Centre for the Da Vinci Exhibition. *Sye Ling was supposed to join us but she is down with a flu :(*
Bought tickets at SGD 24 per pax, granting access to DV Exhibition, Science Centre and also a show at the Omni Theatre.
We chose Sea Monster for the Omni theatre show.... the show was ok But i guessed, if given higher seats, the view will definitely be better. and yah.... never buy the BIG popcorn set.... it is JUST TOO MUCH! But E-Wei can really eat i will say~
Science Centre in our conclusion is more suited for kids :P Even though i did ran around (like one) ... and yah ... as usual i was snapping away with my Canon IXUS (like i was a tourist) *haha* But if you think about it... the last time i visited this place was like 8 to 10 years back.... it is as new to me as to a tourist i would say :P
Following that, the long awaited DV Exhibition. The queue was super long, considering that tomorrow is the last show. Da Vinci was a genius in everything.... military strategist, civil engineer, sculptor, hydraulic engineer, violinist, painter, singer (since in the exhibition, it was mentioned he has a good voice)...... GOSH... indeed A GENIUS in all fields!
the DV exhibition was an eye opener especially the detailed study of the mona lisa.... it was just unbelievable...... *did you know that if you were to walk from one side to the other while looking at the mona lisa painting, she always seem to be looking behind you?*
anyway~ some pictures :)
oh yah..... the last pic shows why it is better for me not to try to be a body builder..... haha
a great sunday to all
Cheers*
