Tomorrow I am going to Washington, DC for 4 days to the Fulbright Enrichment Seminar. I just looked at the weather forecast. Ice rain, snow, freezing temperatures. I AM NOT PREPARED FOR THAT!

Actually, it ended up not being that bad. Biggest issue was that I winter clothes were obviously not highest on my list of priorities when I came to the US...

And, yes, I was always freezing growing up in the mountains. I clearly remember the emergence of ice on the INSIDE wall of our house.
