Steph! I haven't been on this for forever. Luckily I only missed this one huge emotional distress thing. whew. ok well, remember...before you know it you're gonna have your own house and stuff and then your dad will want to be invited to a dinner party and you won't have to give him dessert, and then I suppose justice will be had.

I know what you mean by feeling sorry for the other people who your parent is yelling at. My mom does the same thing when i'm around.. but I actually tell her to calm down, which sometimes works. One time my mom was in a rage, and I got annoyed with it, as you had, and yelled back! It was extremely loud and it shut her up. Hope things are back to normal with the family!
